What type of Massage do I want?
With the many types and variations of massage, we want to make sure you are put in contact with a massage therapist who will meet your individual needs. Most of our massage therapists will customize or tailor your appointment to your unique body.Â
Swedish - A gentle, full-body, massage great for relaxation, tension release, and those who are new to getting massages.Â
Pre-Natal - This massage type uses mild pressure while focusing on stressed areas of the body such as the lower back, hips, and legs. These massages can help mom reduce stress, tension, and body aches.Â
Deep Tissue - This type of massage uses more forceful pressure and strokes to target the deeper muscles and connective tissues.
Lymphatic Drainage - Also known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage, this type of massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of the body to help lymph move to an area of the body where there are working lymph vessels. This type of massage can help relieve swelling after medical treatment or illness.
Hot Stone - Similar to a Swedish massage, hot stone massages are ideal for stress relief and relaxation. It may help with pain relief and blood circulation. During these sessions, your massage therapist uses warm, smooth stones along with their hands.Â
