About Aisha
Aisha has worked with children, families, and couples in various settings such as home-based therapy, outpatient therapy, outreach, school social work, and domestic violence. Aisha is dedicated to assisting children, families, and couples find effective coping skills, develop positive communication skills, and resolve conflict in a healthy manner. Aisha knows developing these skills is not easy, but believes that if her clients are willing to do the work they can see their changes.

Aisha believes that everyone can have a second chance at the things they want and to become a better version of themselves. To her it just takes support, and working collaboratively and honestly with her clients. Aisha strives to meet her clients where they are and focuses on their progress or small changs. Her motto is that “small progress” can lead to big change. Ultimately, her goal is to use a mixture of evidence-based practices, with a non-bias approach, that is tailored to each client’s individual needs and treatment. Aisha works with adults, individuals, families, couples and children ages 4 and up.

Aisha received her BS in Family Community Services and Human Biology at Michigan State University. Aisha, then, went on to receive her Masters in clinical social work also from Michigan State University. During her Masters studies, she earned a certificate in the Clinical Social Work with Families Program.
