Structure of Session:
This will be a small group session of 2-5 participants
Please allow 90 minutes for the following:
15 minutes for Intake and overview of the SomatIQ Breathwork™ session
60 minutes for SomatIQ Breathwork™ session
15 minutes for Integration and sharing
Some important things to note in getting ready for our session.
You will lay down for the session if that is comfortable for you.
Water, chapstick, blanket, and/or a yoga mat can come in handy.
Dress comfortably and remove any jewelry or other items that may cause discomfort or restriction in your movement.
Do not eat 2 hours prior to the session.
About Somatic Breathwork:
SomatIQ Breathwork™ is a full embodiment experience designed to help you release stress, trauma, emotions and pent up energy from the body. It is a modality that utilizes your own breath to help shed the layers of yourself that no longer serve.
SomatIQ Breathwork™ uses a circular connected breath pattern to tap into your body's innate inner intelligence and find the areas that need clearing. Coupling the breath with immersive music may result in different forms of cathartic emotional releases such as laughing, moving, crying, yelling, and shaking. All forms of expression are encouraged because it allows the body to move any stuck energy and create space for the second half of the breathwork session.
A gentler breathing technique is used in the second half of the session to help you connect with who you truly are. Together we can use the breath to call in how you want to show up in the world, the changes you want to embody, and allow you to see clearly what it would be like to live your best life.
