Tai Chi & Chigong Basic Workshop w/Carol Gallentine

Tai Chi is a gentle form of movement helping us retain our body's strength using breath and intention. Qigong is an ancient Chinese healthcare system that integrates posture, breathing techniques, and focused intention. You will learn a simple Tai Chi form and a Five Element Qigong form that you can use every day at home or in the office. You will also experience a Qigong Sound healing method that will give you the opportunity to connect with your internal organs.


Wear comfortable clothing. NO outside shoes are allowed in the yoga studio, please bring non-slip slippers/socks or go barefoot.

Meditation Workshop Series with Mary Skupinski

Every Saturday, March 13th - April 17th, 12pm-1:30pm,

$100 prepaid or $20 per class, RSVP Required

In this 6 week course, we will explore energy basics along with the chakras. Using these points of energy, we will explore different forms of meditation, including guided meditation. A syllabus for the course will be provided along with the written study materials for each class.

Gentle Flow Yoga with Yogi Rhonda

Gentle flow yoga combines both chair and standing poses. Class is adaptable to meet the needs of all students offers balance and strength postures great for those students who are new to yoga, those overweight, older, or those starting over after a break from fitness.

Zumba with Michelle Woods

Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included.

QiGong/Tai Chi Morning Flow

Join Carol Gallentine, LMT every Wednesday from 7am - 8am for this gentle, but powerful practice. QiGong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical body postures, and breathing techniques with focused intention. Tai Chi can help with balance, coordination, and relaxation.

The Talking Tree

2nd Sunday of the month in April, July, October, and January,


Starting April 11th, $5 per person per session

The Talking Tree is back!!!! Come one, come all to Essential Energies’ own message circle, facilitated by Laura Garberick. It’s time to break out those Tarot Cards and practice with friends in a low-pressure and fun environment. Who knows? You might even get some insight and inspiration for your life’s path. Each participant will get to provide a mini reading for the other participant’s questions. This is a great opportunity for beginner card readers or a chance to hone your skill. All money collected will go back to Essential Energies to help support the space. It’s sure to be a good time. Due to Covid, we will not be sharing food. Please bring a snack for yourself if you would like. You can also bring your own drink, however, there are some beverages available at Essential Energies. Oh, and please wear a mask. Thank you.
